From many years of painting, I have gone through several changes, I painted with oils when I was younger, then I switched to watercolors, then slipped into using acrylics like watercolors and now I use many different techiniques in my collages and acrylic paintings.  After looking through the Galleries, I would welcome your commints, questions and or interest in my paintings added in the Guestbook.

During the course of my lifetime, certain things have moved me and stuck in my mind. Maybe it is something nostalgic, a person, a sight or a sound that sparks the inspiration for a painting.
Artists who are working now are free of boundries enough so that we are able to express ourselfs more fully and create beautiful works of art with collage and various other asembleges and abstracts.
The advise not to paint to please the public must be rejected by me, because my intentions are first of all to speak to the viewer, reaching to a place inside that says "this pleases me, I like it, although I do not always know why it does."
When the viewer feels this kind of response to my paintings, I have succeeded. My work speaks for itself, I want it to speak to you.
